This Chateau La Croix Caperot has a barrel maturation of 12-18 months. It is a blend of 75 Merlot, Carbernet Franc 20 and Sabernet Sauvignon 5. You immediately smell the typical properties of Merlot: black and red fruit, liquorice and spiciness. The same accents return in the mouth but we also notice the fresh, lively and fascinating accents of the Cabernet duet. Excellent with grilled meat dishes, lamb dishes and stews.
